Good keywords = good sales
Clients rarely search for images by browsing categories. They are more likely to use the search feature.
Good keywording is critical to good sales. Keyword with as many relevant terms as possible and your image is more likely to show up in the search results and thus more likely to sell. Include variations of words like 'pray', 'praying' and 'prayer'. Our editors do their best to add keywords we think are missing, but it's your job to try to give us the best keywords you can. Do not include keywords that are irrelevant to your image, or it may be rejected.
Romanization of Hebrew and Yiddish
We quite commonly use Hebrew and Yiddish words. There are no hard and fast rules in Hebrew-to-English transliteration, and many transliterations are an approximation due to lack of equivalence between the English and Hebrew alphabets. So we recommend to include as many variations as possible. Following are example of such words along with their variations:
